William Paul Young
We are thrilled to introduce Paul Young for a transformational and intimate dialogue. His history is filled with struggles, recovery, and change. Growing up as a missionary child in West Papua, he faced heavy childhood trauma from both his surroundings and his household. Eventually, Paul worked across various industries, balancing spiritual and professional roles while maintaining a private existence, hiding deep wounds from his spouse and children. Once revealed, these truths compelled Paul to address his past mistakes along with the deep scars that governed his identity. Within that darkness, he discovered a fresh view of mercy, restoration, and faith. Most know what happened next. To explain his faith to his kids, Paul wrote a story for them. That became The Shack. From a tiny local print run of 15 copies, the volume reached millions worldwide through sheer word of mouth. Beyond simply discussing literary success, he explores the internal path—the scars, the recovery, and the growth that defined his character. We are privileged to host the Restoring the Shack video series as he explores this transitional time, providing wisdom that is both provocative and uplifting.
